Dr. Smith was born and raised in South Korea.  She earned her MD degree from Korea University College of Medicine before moving to the United States and completing her Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship at Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University in Washington DC.
Dr. Smith has practiced in the Hannibal area since 1999.  Her main clinic is located in Wentzville Missouri.  She also runs a weekly clinic in Hannibal Missouri.

Dr. Smith is a Board-Certified Rheumatologist who specializes in medical aspects of pain management.
